In the digital age, many artists, writers and musicians have found themselves to be the victims of copyright theft. In some cases, the intentions are not bad, with bloggers just wishing to share a particularly beautiful photo or maybe it's a YouTube user wishing to share a great song from their favorite band. In other cases, unscrupulous people will knowingly harvest and steal photos, writing or music, and republish it either for sale, or to promote themselves or their own business.
Here at Henna Lounge, we have found thousands of copies of our henna photos floating about on the web, and even some of our local competitors use our photos (without permission). It can be pretty upsetting! I know many other henna artists are encountering the same problems, so I've compiled a list of resources to aid in the removal of stolen photos from the web.
